Should probably mention a substantial reward will be offered for any information leading to the recovery of this equipment.

Yeah I know, devistated - I forgot how expensive it is starting from scratch, in terms of buying a whole new fit out.

The gear wasn't stolen from the usual locations, i.e. the car or the beach, but from a residential address, which is kinda sus, since kiteboarding gear isn't on your common thiefs list of items to nick.

Hey guys, just want to send a massive acknowledgement to Kitepower Geelong (kitepower.com.au) and Slingshot Australia for helping me get back on the water some new RPM's and some sick Underground boards.

It may be worth re-posting the list of stolen gear when spring kicks in and they're more likely to try to flog it (that is if it isn't already in a cash converters in Adelaide or something).

When I had my bike stolen a while back I was told the organised thieves steal a van full of Melbourne bikes, drive up to Sydney, hock them up there and then steal Sydney bikes to bring back here. Hard to track if they're that organised, but at least kites are less common than bikes.

Good luck. (And enjoy the new toys!)

The Kaos had more flex than Rolf Harris's Wobble Board, and besides that, the top laminate had begun peeling. This kind of build quality was in keeping with my last LF 2011 Envy kite (which suffered a leading to trailing edge tear on the second day I had it).
