Hello

Virgin Australia did a pretty good job at not tacking care of my surfboard despite board bag + bubble paper...

Who could advise on someone able to fix that for me?

Because obviously it happened on the way in and not on the way back, I still HAD to surf: I put some sun cure as a temporary fix.

I can feel by the weight of the board that water found its way through the sun cure and inside the board. Any recommendation on best way to deal with that (considering wonderful Melbourne weather...)?

Cheers

BTW: thanks hips to the guy who gave me his tube of sun cure!!!

Bummer. I had a great repair at a decent price from Zak surfboards in Thornbury after a similar shipping 'incident' with my board. I'm not a local though so can't profess to be an expert on the local amenities...

Sun cure - I don't even know what that is..?

The usual trick is surf wax and electrical tape.. The wide silver stuff is best.

I'd recommend Raz! Surfboard repairer straight out of the 70's.

Raz has been shaping and repairing boards for everyone since the 70's :)
