Hi guys, unfortunately I had some bad luck today... I didn't really pay attention when I did a transition and then my kite got tangled around the buoy... The lines dragged the bar high up in the buoy. **** me haha!

I managed to rescue the kite and the board, but the bar is still there. I'm going to try rescuing it tomorrow, but I'm not sure what'd be the best way. I was thinking of renting a paddle board. The buoy is quite high so not sure if I'll be able to reach it. Else I'll need another game plan. Does anyone has any ideas? Experienced this before?

Rule 1 of kiteboarding, always have two line lengths between you and stuff that can harm you.

Mate. Did you have a line knife? The kite and board are worth more, so glad you got them back. I would have just cut the lines and leave it all for Port Auth to untangle. Lines are cheap to replace.

Not a Cabrinha bar? Oh right it's not a tree...

Glad you got the gear back!
