I also had to do a self-rescue, but it was great actually because I managed to hold onto the middle line, reeled it all in, re-attached the quick-release and relaunched the kite! It was awesome!
Thats not a self rescue, its a relaunch, how it should be done unless you have broken something or have a birdsnest
