I was well powered on my 7m at Brighton.
For it to be passing Fawkner on Saturday they'd have to have launched at Williamstown or Altona, somewhere blowing completely offshore, unless someone released it at Altona on Friday night when that storm came through...???
Might have happened early morning. People said the wind was a lot lighter.
Could also be a complete newbie launching in offshore conditions from someone in Altona/Williamstown, but I reckon it would have travelled faster the way the wind was blowing.
