Heading up to Mackay region for work this week, will be staying in Mackay Wed night then heading south down to St Lawrence / Carmila area on Thurs 11th, then heading back up to to Mackay on Friday 12th.
Forecast is looking good...., taking my gear and looking to kite from midday Thurs and most of Friday around this area.
Any crew around that would want to hook up down that way?
I'll have a vehicle, so getting there is not a problem, but totally unfamiliar with the area.
I'm happy to kite alone if need be, so any recommendations on local spots would be great to save me a bit of time and travel checking the coastline out.
I've looked on Google maps, the whole coastline looks pretty good and kitable........however would like some feedback or local knowledge from those familiar with the area.
