Aloha, I know this is old but there is no reason not to answer.

If you are not good do not go to lanes.. its complicated.. you will get your gear or yourself eaten by rocks... Be sure to query people down there be aware of FAA rules and stay the hell out of the no fly zone for kites you can get in excess of 1000$ fine.

I would advise going to Kanaha Beach to kite in Maui. This is where I go and I am not displeased ( I live in Kula )

Costs I have no idea but be careful.

can u kite at sprecks or camp one ( last time i was in maui was 95 )as a poley

Nah mate sorry you cannot. There is signs down there :/

You can windsurf there but even launching out of sugar cove is forbidden now. However if you want to go to Ho'okipa and are good enough you can do a down winder to Kanaha if you go 2 miles miles out.

The Map says Ho'okipa is forbidden but you don't launch exactly there.
