So I need to get my kite/surf fix before the end of the season.. Come Camping!!!

I'm going from the 7th of the feb to the 11th of Feb

Plan is as follows...

Day 1: morning head to Wedge island. setup simple over night camp.. Afternoon Kite. At night fire fish etc.. surf in the morning..
Day 2: Morning surf Leave wedge head to Sandy Cape arriving around 1pm find camp spot... afternoon kite.. night time fire and fishing etc
Day 3/4: head to surf spots in the morning.. return for lunch kite in the afternoon
Day 5: Back up head home.

All the places need a 4x4 to get 2. if you want to come but don't have a car we can work it out..

Argggh why couldn't you have done this last week, I'm off to work on Saturday. Spewin, I would've come for sure, let us all know how you go with the fishing too, good time of year for some surprise catches for beach fishing.

Yeah hopefully, I fulfill my dream and catch a big mulloway, I have been beach fishing for years and never got one.. There should be plenty of Tailor around.. Last time I was at Sandy cape, I think the shallow bays full of reef, with no real gutters.. stop the big fish from coming in there..

Day 1/2 Perth to Wedge Island for some waves, Fishing. Caught one taylor 59cm... easterlies no kiting to be had..






Day 2 Wedge to Sandy cape where we were invaded by bees, dived for crays.. swam with a seal.. Trying to still cray from us I actually think.. Not enough wind to kite but would have been great spot..





Day 3 Sandy Cape to Greenhead - Point Louise/Billy Goat Bay. Surfed at Point Louse then sunset kite wind was 20 to 24 knots right on sunset..






Day 4 Exploring bays and 4wding in the middle of nowhere at Gumtree Bay past Leeman, it was meant to be a great taylor fishing spot so the ranger said.. no luck for us... nice spot to camp and kite..





Day 5 Surf at Wedge, Lunch at Endeavour Tavern Lancelin then explored the Sand Dunes and more beach 4wding before heading home. No kite. the crew could not be bothered waiting for the wind to come in..
