mid morning sounds good, ill give you a buzz fri night. At this stage they are calling 5-6m south swell with 25 to 30 knots SWer which is pretty much perfect wedge. im excited.
the waves should only be a bit overhead. That video above was on a 3-4m swell. Needs to be a solid swell to make it into wedge. It is a very sweet wave when it is on.
normally walk down from top car park. you could sail down from sandpits but a bit of a slog back upwind at end of session. Yes sotherly swell is a whole different kettle of fish. Wedge usually packs a bit of a punch for its size too, compared with the other south facing beachies.
