Hey. Plenty of info if you do a search. If you're there this coming weekend the Northerlies look promising, though just in a small window. For your weight, assuming not a typo and you really are 47kg, then your smallest kite would do. You can kite the flats in the river or chop and surf out of the mouth and stretching up and down the coast. Clear water generally, particularly in these dry conditions. Wind can be gusty at times, though the northerlies tend to be nice and constant.

If you head around to the right from the beach this takes you away from the trees and along an exposed sandbar where northerlies come in to play. You can then kite to an open area closer to the coastline and further away from land. A degree of experience would be needed. Check out what the locals are doing when you get there.
Here is a google earth shot. You can see where the road comes in at the top of the pic and leads to a boat ramp and beach near the mouth.

Heading to Bargara next week, the forecast doesn't look to good . Is kiting possible at bagara or is it best to head Elliot heads or north.

Hi Matt. Things may pick up mid next week with SE winds. Elliot is great in a SE. Don't know anyone that kites Bargara, I'm from Hervey Bay and only get up that way a few times each season.
