Just wondering what's the best wind directions for kiting at Pallarenda??? Not sure with Magnetic Island out the front. I'm coming over from Perth tomorrow hopefully the wind gods come to the party.
We had like solid 3 weeks of wind before the Queens Bday weekend, but soon after it completely died, and it's been like this now for 3 more weeks, today. Yeah very frustrating. At this rate might go to Marvin and buy a foil and twin tip just to get going in something. But soon, it's going to pick up pushing us into the 2013 season. Fingers crossed.
Pallarenda report for 7 Jul 2013 Just today it has really picked up nudging just shy of 20knots at Pallarenda. This morning was abysmal sub 15knots and only one kook out, but he packed it in. Looks like it's going to be a crowded session this arvo. The rest of the week to be similar, so if you're in town good winds! Beats the V8revheads that are out snorting fumes and us kiters enjoying uncrowded sessions.
There is just nothing, unless you have a 20mtr depower Peter Lynn monster and prepared to land kite (I wish!), there is nothing! Nada! Zilch... Only Cairns >>MAY<< get something by Friday.
Does not look like it will be here long as there is another low right behind the high coming across the bite. Might have a little session before it drops off AGAIN!!!
