Have to agree with you (upsidedowner) on the 1st line - I have been a staunch SEQKA supporter and member for 2 years now but I don't think we are doing ourselves any favours by trying to lead others to believe that narrowneck or any beach is the exclusive property of SEQKA for kitesurfing...

This certainly will create a stronger divide between members and non-members, we need to encourage membership NOT try to coerce or force kitesurfers to join our association.
As members it is important we lead by example and encourage membership through being cooperative, friendly and helpfully at all times - SEQKA members are ambassadors for our association and could easily help in recruiting more members simply by being a person that non members can respect and would like to get to know better through exclusive club activities such as ride days, down winders and piss up nights! We require large membership numbers to have a strong voice so that we may have some influence on council, lifesavers and other beach user groups that we may need from time to time to approach for help or understanding.
Pls remove/tape over the 1st line on those signs as I think it is doing us more harm than good...
