We are wanting to kite White haven later this year, can any one have some feed back on the area

Seriously - beautiful spot, have only kited it on lighter days as it's a rough boat ride out there when it's blowing strong.
S/E breeze can be a little disturbed as it comes over the island,
Best to kite at Hill inlet end, nice flat water on the lower tides.
Northerlies can work, but get really choppy.

Definately worth seeing.

And if you drop your kite, relaunch ASAP. The surf here should be mild, but it's enough to churn up the sand, which will cling to your kite like glue and weigh it down. If that happens, you're grounded until your kite dries off enough to shake the sand off.
