What's the best indicator of live conditions at Golden Beach? I was going to head up from Moreton Bay today, as soon as it looks like green arrows for when I arrive (<1hr drive).
Worked it out. Between Maroochydore, Cape Moreton and Inner Beacon it was pretty clear it was on. I departed not long after my last post

The se qld site guide has a weather section there's 2 relevant entries re wind one at military jetty so few hundred metres from golden beach launch and the 2nd is on beach at Currimundi. For comprehensive sunny coast profile suggest down load holfuy app on mobile and load up sites of interest into the favourites section this gives this snapshot choose one and goes to detailed view on website - excellent to have..
