largs is do-able, about half way down the beach it is not too off shore. can be unreliable though.
or i've seen people at semephore, at the end of bower road.
checked forcast and BOM say it is going straight N in the afternoon.

It's looking like NNW now for the weekend.
What's everyone's thoughts about kiting in wet weather (apart from the cold)? I haven't really experienced it before but am keen to get on the water after a while off of it. I assume the kite doesn't fly as well?

kiting in the rain isn't a problem. just don't go out if there is lightening, don't want to end up having a wet kite in the sky during that! - Ben Franklin was supposed to have discovered electricity flying a kite in a storm.
dark sky+ murky water = more active big fishes.... apparently!
