i finally have one ready to kill.

i have a clapped out 15ft canoe, upside down makes a perfect slider.
where should be put the heffa.
any ideas?

Wow-sliders everywhere. The kiteshop has one or two small ones, There is a massive one being built by team liquid force to complement the kicker and team north have just built one as well. I even saw a photo of tino on one- pretty sure that is here too.

Badey can you use the bell end to make the slider break in half for transport- 3m is easy done...

Otherwise Milang is prime slider territory...

Anywhere metro beachy and the authorities may not like it too much...

i'm not sure what you mean by the 'bell end'.. but it should be pretty deconstructable. The supports can all be removed from the rail, and we are thinking of making the rail in 2 sections. It will be able to fit in a ute...but it would be way nicer to have a spot to leave it...

whats the story with the LF slider, and who is 'team liquid force' and 'team north' ? are these the shops that sell this stuff?

Also, if you guys are using PVC, what size have you gone for. I'm thinking of using two lengths side by side, not sure about the size though.

Ideas on locations still appreciated, especially for the local metro beaches...airport, largs and the wall. How important is flat water? It should be pretty sturdy as it sits on pretty strong supports (T braces), I've heard they can get battered in the chop though...

The bell end of the pvc pipe is slightly bigger so you can join the next piece on, if you cut the length in half you could have it so it joined in the middle of the 6 m length to get it to transport easily...

Team LF- a bunch of guys riding that gear and Team North, ditto. One is already built- ready to be tested soon- double rail with special supports - looks really good.

Haven't seen the effort from the liquid force guys- maybe Jarrad could update us all ?

hey guys, another good spot for sliders would be port parham, very tidal and heaps of flat water. you could construct the sliders before the tide comes in, and when it does you've got flat shallow water, im sure the sports club would store it.

Milang is an option but there are some serious flat water spots on the inland side of the Pt Sturt headland and there is no one around, no boats etc. Year round deep enough but can still touch for when you snap your board in half....
As long as you can get upwind well, could be a good spot.

Hi, just one other question. Is a kiteboard 'team' when two guys share one kite? Just trying to figure out if I should join a team or not...it sounds cool, but I don't want to strap myself to another man.

we dont want to wash upon the beach choking for air and especially not a sweet slider too.
