Thanks for your reply, I thought it was a long shot but was hoping some K.I. kiters might reply. I was hoping beatrice point could be a future speed spot in some strong fronts which pass down that way, looks really good on google earth. Might have to go over and check it out one day.
im heading over this xmas are you looking at the Beatrice Islets just off Kingscote that look like they may just be a sandbar at low tide? Or something else that im missing?
Yeah beatrice point just to the north of Kingscote , on some of the pics on google earth it looks epic . Looks to be a sand spit that sticks out around 800m or so but in what tide Iam not sure.
