My name is Bob Taylor and i have posted some images from the Kite Festival at Semaphore last Saturday and Sunday .The lack of wind for the good part of the weekend kept a lot of the big kites out of the skies .I have included o couple
of images that i took last year of some of the different large kites that apeared

Some awesome shots there - I like the way you've captured the kite makers and fliers with their babies, er, I mean their kites!

Pitty you didn't make it down for the Sunday - the wind was perfect for the big kites in the afternoon - we even got a bit of a kitesurf, and the kite boat was out.

Hope to see you next year.
