Anybody out there riding the f-one Bandit, I test rode one a fortnight ago thought it was magic. So just chasing other points of view before I go buy one. Thanks

Tried one 2 weeks ago.
Great boosting kite, endless fligh, turns quick for its size, depower too far away, bar pressure could be less....
OK kite

There has been an update/mod to the chicken loop rope length for those with little arms!

I was emailed by M8 and I noticed this email went to all their stockists. They would have the info.

I bought a 9mtr and 13mtr and love them, but do agree the depower is a bit far away, I find it is ok with my seat harness but with my waist its a bit of a stretch. Apparently the depower mod is just a shorter rope between the chickenloop and depower cleat (you loose a little depower), I may look into it but don't really find it a problem. If you are into unhooked powered freestyle (I'm not quite there yet but working on it) it maybe a hassle if you are constantly depowering to unhook.
The kite has very consistent, smooth power delivery, good "fifth line like" safety and effortless relaunch so it gives you the confidence to go for new tricks. If you find that the bar pressure is a bit heavy you may be just oversheeting a bit much, it seems to like to fly off the front lines so pull the depower a bit more or move the front line down a knot or two to shorten it.
P.S. The 9mtr is even more fun and has a great wind range.

HI Guys
Ive ridden most the bandits my favorite is the 13 its got huge range but all ways feels grunty ive just put the shorter rope on mine, so far i'd say its a good option for some poeple. I like it being a bit closser but you do have to use the depower strap a little more often. But the depower strap is also closer so for me its all good, havent tried it on the 11 or 9 yet

good wind

i have a 13 M bandit, im 95kgs and i have found it to be a grunty beast, i was riding fuels, then rebels and i find the bandit is kinda cross between these kites, well it seems that way for me. i can get out when the lighter guys are on 11s and the other day i was out in 25-30 (everyone else was on 9m) i was over powered and if id had an 11 would have used it but the 13 still was controllable and stable, just had to work for it. Depower is a little far away so if they have a fix that will be great. Easy to rig up, looks pimp as, nice bar, find as im presently the only person with one in Melb that it gets alot of interest. Also a stopper ball kit i think is available which would be great for those of us used to riding against it. id say well worth a look if ur after a new kite, wont be to everyones taste, but it has the C feel, and with full depower.
