Slingy finally jumping on the Delta train... wonder if they'll keep all their current models or drop one to make room for the Key?

Slingy dropping the Fuel?

NEVER

That would be like Ford dropping the Falcon

You've got to be kidding. Not another mid-season kite. How are you supposed to choose what gear to get?
They were going to call it "Ignition", but it didn't fit across the tip.
Next year they're bringing out the "Dashboard".

Yeha, but it opens up so many options for marketing phrases:

Now with Fuel Injection Struts and Rain Sensing Windscreen Wiper Auto Relaunch.

Our new kite will come with the gear stick 50cm bar and handbrake quick release system which stops the kite like ABS.

For those looking for low end, you can use your low range pigtail attachments which immediately have the same affect as putting a car in 4x4 and can get even a 100kg rider going in almost no wind whilst our 5th gear attachments promise the best high end of any kite.

With Dynamic Stability Control and Traction Control, the kite is guaranteed not to fall out the sky for the most stable kiting experience known to man.

We'll also be releasing the V8 special edition for improved performance.

First 3 buyers get mag wheels and a pimp my ride kite experience.

LOL saffer - The key is an additional kite in the SS range....

The RPM, Octane & Fuel cover a pretty wide range of the market - but there was nothing to pick up from where the Turbo 3 left off, aimed at the complete beginner market -
Key = Turbo 4... Kinda like Octane = Rev 3... Same kinda thing but different enough to warrant a name change...

Cool another hybrid from SS, i had a couple of hybrid, c kites some years back, i will see if i can find the LINK. Actualy i might just get a pic, still in the cupboard no one would buy it secondhand.

SS just make up your mind you allways seem to try and sit on the fence, If you want to make a Delta just make one.

The concave trailing edge clearly makes this more of a bow shape than a delta. I think hybrid delta is a bit of a stretch, but I guess if they use the term hybrid then anything goes really. I wonder if the marketing guys thought "bows are a bit on the nose at the moment, so lets call it a delta".
Anyhow there are about six degrees of seperation between most designs these days. So who really gives a fig, as long as the kite performs for it's target market and is built tough, thats the main thing IMO.
