Hey
Im buying a North X ride and the 2010 is 70bucks cheaper than the 2009. Does anyone know the difference? Is the 2009 a better board?

probably just weaker US dollar than same time last year, rumour is a lot of prices have dropped vs last years models, especially on kites (cabrinha). Maybe the manufacturers are desparate to keep market share with dwindling disposable income in the us?

Hi Cowboy,

The prices across the entire North Board range have dropped. Todd is right, it has everything to do with the strength of the USD. YAY!

The new 2010 X-Ride looks sick. They have made some significant changes to the construction and flex distribution by adding shaped core material to allow the board to twist. The fins are all new and the footstraps have been upgraded. Foot pads have a new user chooses: soft, medium or hard density foam inserts so you can custom the feel of the board to suit your feet.

New sizes this year also. 129 x 38, 133 x 39, 136 x 40 and 140 x 41.5.

All the rest of the range will be online in about two weeks unless we get told we can upload sooner.
