My Comments:

Just a quick review on initial run on the new 13m Bullaroo. I will update when I get more time on it and the 9 and 11. Thanks to Joe for sending me the kites to test - terrific fast service!

Basically as the jargon says - it looks and feels identical to the '09 13m Roo with the mentioned refinements mentioned on other sites.
Very smooth and easy to ride kite. Bottom end for me with 24m lines 90kg 135x42 custom board around 13-14kts holding ground and enjoying the cruise.

Still don't understand the one pump apparent popularity, awkward to pump up and down with the tubes kinking. Overall no time saving at all. But - I hate one pump on all kites so this is my own view.

If you liked the 09 waroo and want a newie then definitely give this a try.

Ironically a fisherman pulled in a small Bull shark next to where I was kiting - funny!

Ian took some pics of the kite which he may post up here.

Brent Coles here up here in Mackay

I rode the 9m Bullaroo on Sunday just gone in a good 20kts in flatwater conditions. Normally I ride the Nemisis but took the opportunity to test ride Bullaroo.

I found the kite to be extremly stable as it was quite gusty and stormy, IMO in out performed the Nemisis for stability and power delivery in this wind. I am a progressive freestyle rider hitting some handle pass tricks on the Nemisis, but I found the Bullaroo to sit well and provide great feedback allowing for even easier handle pass tricks (in this wind) than the Nemi! I was really suprised and stoked on my session. The Bullaroo relaunched easier than the Nemi but has a bit more overall bar presssure, not such a bad thing for a 9, atleast you know where it is at all times!

I have not ridden any of the other sizes but I know BEST Aus will have 8 of these bad boys available at Kite Stock this year. I am actually heading over and can't wait to ride these kites in variety of winds strengths and water conditions.

My first impressions are that they are a sick kite that will give good all round performance and cover that gap between the Nemisis and Waroo nicely. Making it sweet for freestyle, wave and freeride.

If you guys over in the West are keen to try one, make sure you make the effort to come to Kite Stock and look up Joe and I and grab one for a session!

Over East, demos will be being sent to shops shortly and some clinic days are in the process of being planned to help with tuning, setups, and performance characteristics etc, especially since this years Waroo has had a few hickups, the Bullaroo certainly seems to have delivered on some promises!

Cheers Colesy,

Yeah Bennie he was going to eat it. Only because he hadn't landed any dolphin or dugong which he much prefers.

Rhys I think you'll like it - but maybe not enough gp in it for you guys.

When we compared both the 09 Waroo and 2010 Bularoo kites back to back, there was noticeble size / shape difference. The Bularoo looks larger than the Waroo, but we put it down to the revised bridle system that has made the kite flatter rather than more C.

I felt the Bularoo had more hang time and this could be why.. You need to check this kite out, we have a lot of people showing interest, also at the price tag.
