Novel width adjustment, its good to see new ideas out there

Just dont hit one of the crutch extender buttons while your mid jump, you dont want to see one of the bar ends complete with line flying off towards the kite when your 5m off the water:)

I like the look of that chicken loop and quick release. They definately spend plenty of time working on their bars. But why so much white, its like last years foot straps.White and red dirt becomes pink before you even get to the beach.

Hi peeps,

If you buy an Airush kite with the new Smart Bars, look in the packaging and you'll find the little grease satchel. Don't lose it, it has a purpose.

If you're like me, you just rip open the bag and rig up without reading the booklet and how to manual.

When you set the bar up, you need to grease the parts that slide together as aluminium parts that slide together and are exposed to salt water WILL corrode and freeze up. Put the grease on and you should have no issues, however you still need to keep the grease up to it over time to keep it functioning like it was made to.

Good bars and a novel idea. Airush do have some excellent innovative ideas.

Perhaps a dry lubricant like Sailkote spray would be a better option?

Some of those "new" features have been on the North 5th Element bar since last year.
I do like the bar bag though.

So you have to remember to grease your bar before you go out
I'm with FLKiteboardR some sort of dry lubricant would be better.
Grease is just going to attract sand and either jam or enhance corrosion

yeah i loved the new bar, really comfy grip, one of the more comfy ones on the market at the moment. smooth and easy to use QR which is also easy to reassemble.

the bar adjustment was on last year's bars as well I am pretty sure. Only thing I didn't like were the depower toggles were a bit chunky and cluttered flying around up there but on the plus side they were super easy to reach and adjust.
