Hi!, I moved to Sydney in order to live in a city where I can live and kitesurf. To what I've seen Botany Bay is the only place. Is that it? And then where in Botany Bay cause it's a pretty massive bay, which train station, or which suburb or which street? And then, which is the windy season? And how windy? I'm getting a new kite next week hopefully, cause I got my kites robbed fck! Anyways, what's the best kite seize for Botany Bay? And well anything else you could please let me know............... and I mean, I think these are the enquires will help anyone going for kiting in sydney, haha have a good one!!!

Hi,

Take a look at www.nswkba.com.au. Half way down the page there is 2 links to maps with popular kite spots in Sydney. Botany and the Northern Beaches are covered.

Hope this helps

How much do you weigh?
If its Mr Average 70-80kg then a 11/12M is the main size for Botany Bay, although lately its been 7m and 9M winds too, and a lot of people have 2 kites or now reaslise they need 2 kites.
So 8/12 or 7/11 are good combos, drop into Kitepower and we will explain on a map here where all the spots are.
There are many good coffee shops on the North, or windless side or Sydney.

Cya and

Goodwinds

Hi

Dolls is too busy and hard to get to by train/bus, best is Cronulla on a southerly to east north east good waves and great land based kiting as well

On a north east Kurnell is the place.

The bay is just too busy to be safe.
