Hi

I was on the beach with camera - Ramsgate to Monterey on Easter Friday afternoon. I chatted to a few of the riders about images, which are now being loaded into www.bigguyphotos.com

Am looking for feedback please on the images. Image attached is one of a number of different series. First time in a LONG while I have photographed this sport.

Some really good clear close up shots there bigguy.
Just some feedback with kitesurfing some tricks happen really fast so its difficult to capture the photo your after,even harder if you cant foresee what the kiter might do .
When someone goes for a trick its better to take multiple frames.
If someones about to turn better to pan out slightly so the spray off the board is in the pic.
When guys are going for big jumps its better to pan out so the pic captures the height of the jump, a closeup of someone going big doesnt really do it .

yeah, close ups of someone in a jump are a bit boring, unless its a chick in a bikini.
but nice shots....

Hi there, Nice and kind for you to spend some time taking pic of kiters ... Your pictures are great .. U could also get a fish eye and put yourself in the water to be able to get the kiter and the kite at the same time! for closer up pic, it is nice when the kiter look at the camera and grab the board or does a rotation and u can shoot them while they are facing u!!!! :) Frenchie
