Hi
I am staying the weekend 23-24 of January in Sydney after a weeks work in Canberra.
I am traveling all the way from Norway, where we have -20C at the moment and I would love to spend some hours on the water, now that i have the oppertunity.
I have been rideing for 6 years, most flat water, but tried some waves in spain and Hawaii, I have a few questions, and woul be very greatfull if anyone could give me some advice:
1. is it posible to rent good equipment in Sydney ( I prefer Cabrihna kites) or do I have to bring it all from home?
2. where is the best chances of getting wind/ what would be a great experience for me ( I have never been to Australia before)?
3. I supose I need to rent a car, but hate to spend hours on crowded highways while looking for the spot, easy access is preferable:-)
4. where do i stay in Sydeny?

I guess there is more then one answer to these questions. So again, thank you for any good advise.

hi there. welcome - you will love it here!
1. you cannot rent equipment in sydney that I know of. best to bring your own.
2. you are here in the correct season for wind so no worries there.
3. If you are in Canberra - just head to Jervis bay.. closer than sydney and much nicer beaches for riding.
lots of flat water about there.

if you do come to sydney - and want flat water, stay near the airport.
botany bay!

have a great time.
