I would appreciate a little respect and therefore ask that you refrain from commenting on anything until you have bothered to understand the circumstances which lead to the loss of the board in the first place!

Let me sum it up for you,

Dolls Point - southerly at 30knots gusting to 35knots - chicken loop fail - off shore at the point of fail - line tangled - friend comes round on his kite and offers assistance - takes board back to beach - he end up losing power on his kite - he self rescues and leaves the board - 30 knots of wind pushing the Gojoe on the board offshore - lost.

I was too far off shore and the wind was blowing offshore at the point where the chicken loop had failed so I ended up having to float around in my kite for a hour +

I was rescued by the water police and didn't know that the board was lost until I got back to my car.
