off to Fiji to denaru island to the radison for a weeks break leaving 22nd of march . wasn't going to take the kites as I know its flat water and I only really rise waves but a mate said I might be able to book a private boat and get near some good reef surf , anyone done this from this hotel/ area before , anyone know who I could get info from , even if it costs me a bit it maybe worth while , would love to ride some of the reef swell out there . anyone know about the wind conditions more importantly

I know april is supposed to be the start of the trade wind season over there, so you might get lucky at the end of march, you could also be unlucky and get a cyclone in the area(theres one heading that way right now).
I would take a big kite if I was you, any wind is likely to be light. For waves I can't really help you, I think some guys charter boats and head out to cloud break, but I think that is for experienced kiter only, it can get massive!. You could also try sigatoka rivrer mouth, my good mate went there last year and said its a decent beach break.
