Has anyone ever put whistles on their kite? there was a guy out in sydney the other day with a big black best and it was whistling away - made it sound like it was blowing 40 knots when he punched it into a loop the loop.

you know how when you were a kid you used to put a card so it flicked against the spokes so it sounds like a moto-bike, this guy did the same thing to his kite. now it sounds like a hover-craft. hArd CoRE.

No way man... I didn't get off my BMX to tie or stick a card to the forks. When an empty aluminium can was found in the local shopping centre carpark, I used to ride the front tyre over the middle of the can. The can would crush, wrap around the BMX tyre until the can got lodged in the forks. Unlike spokey dokeys the 'motorbike' sound would happen at all speeds.

Unless you were one of those freaks that could do a wheely for a 100m or more, fast hero BMX bandit style riders got no attention seeking noise from spokey dokeys. All that effort weaving through the bank customers in front of the R&I before bunnyhopping off the 10cm high curb and no noise benefit. WTF?

Spokey dokeys made the most amount of noise at the wrong time. When one had the misfortune of a puncture and was forced to push their bike.
