Hey guys. Im in goulburn working for a few months erecting windmills on a windfarm.
sounds good a farm for wind but..... where can i kite around here or in canberra maybe?
im willing to travel but only say an hour or 2.

good riddence lake george has water in it now.othewise gerroa and the area rocks on the coast.good luck and i hope you have wind and water .there is also a good sized lake out at breadalbane .

I'm a kiter from Canberra and in the local area there is nowhere to kite really.
You could try the Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra, but you would have to be extremely game.. it is gusty and there are lots of obstacles.

Other then that you would have to head to the South Coast for anything decent, and even then you will probably sit waiting around for the wind for longer periods of time then you get on the water :( Other then that... try Sydney!

lost it when i read yours dazza... to funny, i got some pics so i might put them up of lake george and the over sized desk fans lol. yer im pretty game and lake belry griffan could be an option if i get more desperate lol, but other then that the coast like batemans bay would work allright for me or georra ill have to give it a look.

I did a long awaited mission today around the lake but can't find a way in or see how you got such good shots! I'm so keen to kite it .... or at least see how crazy the barb wire and posts are ....
