OK I might end up repeating myself here as I was just there for a week but Mauritius rocks! Quick flight from Perth and it's pretty cheap once you get there. Great beaches, cheap accom, friendly people, really interesting mix of cultures.

Le Morne is a spectacular spot.

id say exmouth, if you catch it right the conditions can be epic, landed it good the past couple of years, had a biiiig swell and a week of 25-30knots last october, oh to be riding graveyards again
