where abouts is it best to hook the safety leash when riding a REV unhooked.

is it the little ring below the bar next to the depower rope???

As Kitebored showed. Hook your leash onto the metal ring that the red handle at '16' is attached to. Alternatively you can go suicide and simply hook your leash onto your chicken loop. Obviously the kite won't fully depower though and probably not recommended unless you're very comfortable/capable with the whole thing.

I would strongly recommend leaving the leash attached to its designated connecting point (number 16). Best thing about being a four line with this safety is that when I drop the bar doing a handle pass (just about all the bloody time lately) the kite drops and is so easy and quick to relaunch. I had always ridden with a suicide previously but with the simplicity of the Rev to relaunch you cannot go wrong. No more drags and getting hammered on the suicide

hey Capt.Gumby
dont you find the bar goes too far when you leave it on the safety line, also with sucide if you miss but your close then you just pull the bar line and keep riding. But i agree the safety line is safer, but you dont want kite to crash all the time then ride sucide

look at the picture above, hook it onto 13 ( chicken loop). But make sure you have a large clip, because the small g clamp clips will open up underpressure because they dont fully close around the chicken loop

i dont recomend riding suicide, but if you do try it, point 11 at least it will pull the depower on aswell, and you can use your standard leash
BUT AGAIN THE PROPER POINT IS MUCH SAFER

I think you can clip on to 11 but the kite wont depower 100%
