Nah I know mate, I'm just comparing and saying that we have the exactly same thing at Main Beach at the Goldy with Surfers, Kiters and Windsurfers PLUS a patrolled area about 100m Sth of the beach PLUS the buses of tourists that have Asians walking everywhere around the kites and set up area etc.

I'll leave it at that, but if he wanted this left as a WA ONLY discussion, it should have been put in the WA-WAKSA thread.
I think the main issue is that there's is literally hundreds of kilometers of beach, in either direction, where you can kite without upsetting anyone.
I'm sure if you had the option of going to an empty beach, without the risk of injuring someone, putting the future of the sport at risk and restricting where we can kite even further then you'd take it.
This is the ONLY beach in the area where they take the tourists on guided snorkelling trips and as I said before he's driven past much better spots to get there.
Turquoise Bay itself has nothing going for it, as far as kiting goes, that you can't get anywhere else along that stretch of coastline except the chance to be a show-pony.
This probably wasn't put in the WA section because it's not a local issue, there are squeezers like this everywhere.
