does anyone kite in perth anymore?
seems like an eternaty since i have.
Dont think i have missed any crackers either.

I was so desperate to be immersed on Sat, I got the booger board out for the 1st time in 2 years!!

If you think the wind was lame, Perth has bl00dy average surf...

Nice sunny day with fantasic beach views though not all bad then.

I don't get why all you guys don't just hang up the strings for another 6 months and get out the sticks, hit some waves. No pumping, no untangling, no 'ken sand everywhere, no kite bags, no derigging. Although the swell is arsemonkey's atm, I'm glad it's not windy.

You guys just dont have the right sports/hobbys.

My sports work in all conditions

No wind, no surf - I spearfish and freedive
No wind with surf - I surf
light wind and no swell - I kite mountainboard
strong wind and no swell - freestyle kiteboarding
strong wind and swell - kite surfing

Always be playing!

Mate, you should point that mountainboard at the bottom of the Goat Farm without the kite and practice your downhill snowboarding. I had a ball on Saturday.

i was about to post something similair we have had such **** wind for such a long time!! i got in a sessh thursday last week but it was really average and before that almost 2 weeks! . this is bs this is the longest ive ever gone with out kiting.. thankgod i my new motorbike :) i would be going insane

It's mountain biking and footy when the kite's packed up. Keeps me fit and active all year round.
