my advice is dont call it Chopper.....
My experience :
I also own a big one a ( unfortunately i cannot claim mine to be bigger than yours )
a 64kg 4 year old Male Akita , Jake or Jacob in formal situations. ( older people are more likely to pat him if he is introduced as Jacob )
Calling a 70kg Bull Mastiff a name like that, strikes terror into peoples minds.
and with the issues related to dog control these days, that is a problem you could do without.
eg :
somewhere down the track there will be an incident it happens with all dog owners at some stage !
When your dog is barking or threatening another dog or even a person screaming out NO CHOPPER NO< CHOPPER COME HERE can have a terrifying effect on the owners of smaller pooches. When this happens the pshycological effect on the members of the public can be the deciding factor on wether they make a report or not. Remember your dog doesnt have to actually bite someone for them to feel threatened and make a report.
When they do make this report they will describe your 70kg beast and that its name was CHOPPER which in turn will paint a picture to the authorities. If the dog was called Daisy there less of a psycological effect and they may not make a report.
Not saying call it Daisy but surely you can do better than Chopper
One thing about owning big dogs is that as far as the public or other dog owners are concerned if there is an altercation you will be blamed.... so many times when walking my dog you get these stupid little dogs off leads racing up to him barking and threatening he usually ignores them until they nip him and then ITS ON... next thing you know he is shaking this thing from side to side in his mouth while the other owner screams abuse..... when you try and explain that their dog was prevoking yours and was being aggressive they just dismiss your comments and assume that their dog all 5kg of it is not in any way aggressive at all.
Sounds LIke BS ? But its true ....
The human psyche is a strange thing....
NO CHOPPER NO ... HA HA HA

thats gold harry you just bought back 100 memories.. no chopper no not the tv remote.. no chopper no not my new wettie.. no chopper no let go of that maltese terrier.....you make a very good point..
