hows cott. the old jetty is actually showing and the sand right up to the tearooms has been washed away, amazing sight

Step 3: Swim to Shore.

Lol. Looks exactly like the beach we used to call "kite beach" back in the dim dark ages of kite surfing on Botany bay.

For some reason it took a number of years for us to move to somewhere that had - shock horror - some sand to launch off instead of the rider at the bottom of the slope and the kite (plus launcher) at the top of the slop.

Now get off my lawn...

That place has *never* been a safe launching area.

Time to learn to go upwind, launching at Sorrento [}:)]

All normal again.

Watermans even got some sand as well.

Atleast with a beach that size, you wont get the clubbies putting the flags along that stretch of coast. Consider it as yours.
Or as the Bra Boys would say "Ours".
