great news for the loders creek crew on the goldy. I just got out of a planning meeting and kiting at loders is safe and sound. This is as long as ben does not kill himself. Carefull dude that **** yesterday sounded really heavy. It is one thing to jump the bar but high level wake tricks wwhhheeew.

We all got to make sure we do not hurt our adoring public. It is the fact that people like to watch us that helped this to happen. So if you see kids playing in the landing area do not be shy. Just ask the parents to move them upwind. I am hoping in the future this place will become a dedicated kite spot. I have already been given the go ahead to put up a sign. This is really good news.

It is great to have a spot with enough room for good riders and allows us to continue to welcome learners.

Sorry but the trees stay. In fact they offer protection to the childrens playground and to walkers in general from kites. So NO RING BARKING

Sorry the place got so bad after the last rains. I will try to stay on top of it next time. Any complaints or suggestions (stupid or otherwise) let me know.

more sand near the rocks, less mud and maybe a sign to warn off tourists would be really good, this is what i was greated with yesterday before anyone else turned up. I thought i was seeing things. (and this was only half of them, the rest where in the park!

OMG - never knew penguins went that far north
Best keep it quiet or else they'll build a grandstand & ban everyone from the beach

Hey PsYLoR,

From a young boy to my mid-teens,
I lived on the shores of Loders Ck, Southport.
My family moved there from Burleigh when I was young.
That was before KFC and MacDonalds were built near the bridge.

True story.
Do you want to know which house I lived in ?

Regards,
waveslave.

Bet it was the house next to the playground ??? The police use it now for canine narcotic training, caus they reckon theres so much crak and amphetamines on the old floor boards its good training for the dogs.

Funny you should mention you lived up here cause theres a lot of teenage kids that look a lot like you

Nah ! It was not a bunch of pengiuns and not Benny's 21st.

Just a bunch of Muslim cartoon artists looking for inspiration I was told.

Good news on the beach front Richo. Nice work.

Dear Greenleader,

It is the house next to the house next to Maccas on the southern creek bank.
It used to be covered by a jacaranda jungle.
Maybe it still is ?
It was always hard to see it from the highway.

In deference to slaves advancing years may I suggest that to 'droop' the sign from the branches of the jacaranda may be more appropriate
