hi

i'm about to buy silverfish kite googels. i was wondering if anyone own a pair of any sort and see if they are really worth it. the silverfish ones are only $40-$50 bucks, they are polarized.

Hey Biagro,

Can't tell you from experience, but heard a lot of guys say that polarized are s**t for kiting as they mess up you being able to spot/judge your landing when you jump. I've never used polarized, but like I say, have heard this from a few sources.

I have polarized sunglasses and this was unfortunately not my best decision. Its not so bad for spotting landings but it is difficult to spot the waves and judge the height and point of break in the surf. But besides that my Blueye Squid glasses are perfect. Really tide and they do not come off, not even in big waves or hard impacts (so far).

cheers
