Had old gear for sale for a while now and finally sold most of it coving the cost of my sick new board. Check it out. First board i've ever bought new. First board that's seemed like value for money new to me. Can't wait for wind.. Posted these 'cause i'm stoked on finally getting this board I've been wanting for ages. (must disclose that my mate sells them though)

Anyone interested in specs check http://surfkitefly.com/ADVECTION_SURF_KITE_FLY/BOARDS.html

The 2 leash plugs are interesting.
You could hang a rope between them and add a pulley.
The board will depower a full 100% when you fall off.
Its a revolutionary design you have there

Looks really good.

Ive been thinking of getting one of these (when Im not such a gumby and can actually ride a surfboard and kite at the same time ).

They look like really good value for money.

I want to go for a 6'2 or 6'3 swallow tail with the full bamboo deck finish.

I wouldnt mind seeing one in the flesh, I want to check out the deck prior to the grip going on, when the time comes might have to drive up the the factory.

Nice one

The easily removable footstraps are a great idea. Not keen on the little bag at the back though and one leash plug would be enough for me. Will be interested to hear an impartial review on how it goes in the surf.

I would say the two leash holes is what the bag ties down onto.

Smedg

You are a good at subliminal advertising and it worked on me.

What are the specs of the boards or perhaps I should just email your friend.

I currently ride a Slingshot 6' 2" Verve and it seems to have a flatter rocker and less offset on fins than a normal surfboard plus is a quad so far I love it.

However always looking for something new to try.

I like the design of the foot straps but will be keen to hear how comfortable they are plus from experience the way the straps go thru the board fittings tend to wear quickly - comments only not being negative

Keen to hear how it goes for you.

Thanks for all the comments .
Warwiki. Big pics is more liminal than sub isn't it. haha
Haven't ridden it yet so won't comment. I rate the foot straps though. extremely comfy. I've used them on my old board for a few months and on my mates carbon fibre board. He'd be able to comment on the wear better than me as my straps went through the aftermarket attachment points made from material not leash plugs. Mine had no wear in say 2 months of reasonable use. The guy who makes them has used his significantly more than me and through the leash attachment points so his will indicate rate of wear better than mine.

Lovely, not sure why u got the red thumb. 100% depower board sounds like a brilliant idea to me 'cept I heard pulleys can tend to provide a less direct feel depending on geometry of coarse. ;)

Its easy to turn into a pimp I think.. I didn't really plan on making this look like an ad. The company isn't a seabreeze sponsor, so I'm probably better to direct questions to surfkitefly.com. rather than me, his mate going on about how good the board is. I don't really know. Non sponsor stuff gets reviews done i spose, which is good imo.

That board looks too nice to be almost completely covered with deck grip.

That sort of board looks better with small pads under the foot area and lots of nice clean white surf wax!

Sick Stick!

Interesting web site and good prices on the boards, my only concern is the durability?,

under their used gear section they have for sale a demo carbon fibre board with "heel dents" , doesnt sound vey good....

But I fully support buying local and an oz made product so let us know how it holds up.

construction - BAMBOO VENEER EPOXY, 2 layers of 4 ounce & 1 layer of 6 ounce on top, 2 layers of 6 ounce & 1 layer of 4 ounce on bottom.

That sounds like a lot of weight to me is it very heavy?

Hi Smedg

How is the board going - can you provide a review?

Is it good in light wind?

Waveve performance?

Durability, board and foot straps?

What do you weigh?

Any comments would be appreciated - Thanks

The nose just broke off my board and a well know brand and not cheap
