What I mean is,
You can start the conversation with the girl speaking first,
or the guy speaking first,
and so on, and so on.
It works both ways.

we are about to run a bar review in kbm - our reviewers - 4 guys were mixed in their thoughts about the above / below bar systems

Above-the-bar systems are good if you're a gorilla with long arms.
Below-the-bar systems are good if you're a contortionist.
I'm neither and I never unhook in waves so I don't have any adjustable trimming system on my custom bar.

It's like one of them lame jokes no one gets except the fool who told it...
