...and the only way to reassure yourself is thinking that a kite addiction must be better than a drug addiction, or even a cigarette addiction or alcohol addiction...

when ya keep checking the trees for movment an hopeing for the north east to some how magically kick in even tho forcast is crap for the whole weekend and still check wind readings thruout the day.

when you realize you did 5 days in a row coolum to sunshine even when
it was southwest for 2 of them....!!

when ya keep knockin off work soon as ya think its about right an start ringin around for someone else to come too for a drop off car

yeh thats the only reason i took it back off her, thats also prob why she broke up with me, not that im compliaing more time to kite

As we can see here evolution isn't finished yet. There are still some people trying to take themselves out of the gene pool.

When you know that the BOM update the wind observations at exactly nine minutes past the hour (and half hour), yet you still hit refresh, just in case they are early for once.

someone tells you your addicted,
-cause the grass hasnt been mowed,
-the car hasnt moved from the same car park in the last season,
-kids have grown up with out you noticing,
-you can rig up all your kites with your eyes closed
-the credit card disagrees with you
-your boss has filed a missing persons report (5 times)
-the ranger knows your full name, number and where you live
-you arrive at every competitions by KITING there
-your harness hasnt moved for who knows how long
-your hair is sun bleached and full of crusty salt
-you no longer sleep with your missus
-you now sleep with your gear
-you never sleep
-you realise that maybe you should spend some time with the kids, maybe take them kite surfing...
-you mobile has 2000 missed calls,
-you start questioning your sanity
-you get a little land sick every time you hop off your board

If a hot chick with only a towel on.... came up to me and said "lets go for it"........I'd go for it boys!!!

Then go kiting!!

All your work goals in your job appraisal are kite moves.

My car got broken into on Saturday night and the first thing I checked was the back to see if the kite gear was safe! It was!! Made me think but have I got an addiction???

After clicking the refresh button 5 times u start checking the webcams lookin for tree movement just in case the graphs are wrong, then just to be sure u check BOM for there wind observations repeating the cycle an uncountable number of times per day.
