When your riding into work ignoring the wind blasting you. And you see some guy lieing on the ground next to his bike... ...You rush up and ask what happened, he replies "Damn wind blew me off as i was hopping on" i think your justified in crying at that moment.

When there is a cyclone heading straight for the coast, and instead of moving cars undercover and tying down loose objects etc. you rig a chicken loop to attach your 2m trainer to your harness because your next smallest kite is a 10m.

When you smash yourself onto a slightly submerged reef, but had the presence of mind to keep the kite off the rocks... and then kited back to the beach because the chunk out of the bottom of your foot hurt too much and was too far to walk over all those rocks anyway :)
Its much hard to edge when you cant put pressure on your heel!

Yeah we are all addicted but there is one rumour that I heard that I can't forget even for kiting:

Aparently they are stopping making Bundy lime & soda. What are we going to drink on the way down to Rye every Saturday morning to stop the hangover??

When you make your own kite because you don't have the $$ for a new one.

(Incidentally that has been my best kite trick, I haven't been on a beach yet where someone else has landed that trick.)

Long live Frankenkite! Two seasons young and still taking abuse.

PR,Keep your filthy legal team away from me!.It was because your lawyer kept touching my Nipples that I left the Breast R&D Team in the first place! I had no problems with Puppets' grip on one of my Nipples, in fact I often derived great pleasure when he set his teeth in and pulled the bar... but that lawyer, and his sidekick the accountant, are just seedy lucre driven scum.

They're my Nipples and I won't allow them to be sullied or pimped, it is for this reason that I am freely demoing to kiters everywhere. So next time you see a Nipple at your local beach, don't be shy, come up and cop a feel.

There is little that makes me happier than someone enjoying my Nipples.

When you hit a submerged rock bank where the board stops and you get dragged across the rocks. Blood pouring out of the left arm & hand and the right foot, sprained wrist and neck. Start walking into shore worried about what long term damage you've done and how long it will take to repair. Get halfway into shore and notice that the wind has picked up......hmmmmmmmm ... what the hell. Wash the blood off yr arm and legs (and the bar) and head back out for another round.

When your display name in msn messenger includes the phrase 'I love my new kite' with a little girly loveheart in place of the word 'love'.

Isn't that so Russell?

nothing really... just don't let family near the internet until those other pics have faded some. It is possible to love a kite, too much, now it would seem.

"You know your addicted when", your gear hasn't come out of the car in the last 2 weeks, just in case. It's Sunday morning, it's raining, theres no wind outside and all the weather forcasts are saying sh$t wind. But,"Ah Ha",20kts predicted later in the evening,I know there meaning a lot later in the evening, but after 5 min of running it around in my head("gotta kite mode, non rational"), I've convinced myself there wrong.

I'm in the car and theres no wind, "that's ok", I'm in the suburbs, it'll be on when I get to the bay. Half way there and notice flags on building not moving, "that's ok", there wet, it's raining. I'm 5 kms away and on top of a hill, no movement in trees, "nah that's ok", theres a bigger hill in front of this one, and the trees are wet.
"Da Da", I've arrived and bound out of the car, walk through some trees to the beach. Standing on the beach alone, raining and no one in site, I take a deep breath then think, "F$CK,THERES NO WIND". So, I jumped back in the car and drive back home.

Is there a pill I can take, did the same thing last weekend
