Asia is a big place. You might want to narrow it down to a certain area eg south east asia, north asia, west asia ect

I live in Hong Kong mate,

We get wind in spring and autumn , generally you can kite 3 days a week during this time. Wind ranges from 10 - 25 knts so you will need a big kite. Just an FYI the best wind in the region close to a big city is definitely Taiwan , 20-40 knts during autumn winter and 10-20 during spring summer (less reliable).

With one month on one month off you could be anywhere really. Im sure u know the best tropical kiting beaches in Asia are in Mui Ne (vietnam) and Boracay ( philippines ) . Ure timings not great though mate as there is no wind in Asia in the summer.

Good Luck

Hello there,
I have few friends that works on oil rig and they like to live in Bali.
The wind here is not strong but you get use to it.
Flight connection in Asia are excellent and in 1 year you get about 200 days of kiting!
Mostly in May-September and then in December-February.
The good thing is that if there is no wind the surf is there at all time!
Between Kite and SUPS I'm in the water about every day...
Forgot!!! Life is very affordable and the quality of life is pretty high.

Thanks for the tips.

If anyone have some more links that would be cool.

At the moment I am checking out:
http://www.kite-asia.com/frame/frame1_e.htm
www.stormkiteboarding.com/
balikitesurf.com/

But main thing is that there is not very strong winds.

Any suggestion? Good wind and good waves? (Paradise? but to young to die)
