Ha! I knew there would be at least one dig on the Slingy....I could never sell this kite to an unsuspecting newb, hence the decision to send it into the tree. I have thought about the expandable foam, and I will wait and see how often it will need inflating, it really doesn't need flying pressure, just air to hold its shape. It is fixed off in so many places it should be alright. I am not sure how I would go getting the foam to travel all the way to the end of the main bladder. Its a great idea though. And yes Gateman, it is our little place that we rent out as a holiday flat. Great for traveling kiters as we are in a prime spot.

Nice one dafish - very inventive. Thinking you could just attach a length of transfer valve tube from the inflate valve to some convenient place to use the pump. Save climbing up. Display kites in the shop usually need a top up @ around 3 weeks.
Yup two digs at once! Nice. Puppet, that's good to know about how often I would have to do it. I mean it takes two minutes when I am sweeping the deck each week to keep the level up. Being a shop kite, what pressure do you keep them at on display? I am thinking it doesn't have to be that high.
