Damn the temp scale didn't appear but looking at the colours I can see that it is colder than Esperance and Albany...... that can't be good.

is also significantly further south than Albs and Esp... currents aside, it ought to be colder. follow the latitude lines across and you will see you may be making a common mistake. Albany/ South Coast area can be darn cold, as it is the first touchdown point for most weather systems reeling in off the Antarctic, full of energy and hail and wind and rain, while i think some of the sting has been removed (particularly from easterly moving patterns, rather than something coming out of the south and hitting Vic direct).

was just back there over summer, and found the water suprisingly bearable. still had the southern freshness to it, but either i have hardened up in the Vicco waters or my old age, or there was some kind of La Ninoid bullshizza going on or something... i dunno... maybe wetsuits have improved in all these years.

also just realised a quick response has turned into a ramble.

always happens when im trying to avoid work...

Rather than asking who fits into that I was asking who does it fit into?

If you are heading down Warnambool way for some after hours work ......
may I suggest you wear TWO of the fore mentioned rubbers...
Apply one first....
then a layer of tiger balm and
then the second rubber.......

if either one of them breaks..... one of you is gonna know.
