What a week its been down at Woodies offshore.. 4 days of hardcore kitesurfing and misc disaster on my side. Wednesday, lost a board and almost trashed/lost my kite. Thursday I did rip my kite and had to swim in with my board then drive down to the next beach and pick it up on the beach, ripped. Got it repaired for saturday, eager to be back out there, my leesh breaks, twice, and my kite flies out to sea..

After all I only lost my board, which was an old and cheap board so not the end of the world but still. Just wanna thank everyone who's made everything possible and helped me. Sci for checking on me stuck in the jetty with my kite, Susi for the effort of getting my kite in, Neil at Hold the Line Kites for doing such a terrific quick job on my kite, Paul at Choice for helping me getting the water out of LE and letting me demo eq (sorry I didn't come down today to get the Rev, I woke up at 2 with .20 alchol in my blood. Rain check!), The guys, Dan and the ones I don't know down at Woodies getting my kite and board in when my leash snapped and I had to swim again.. Thanks guys!

I took some great pictures too Im gonna post as soon as I get my broadband in my appartment sorted..

Happy New Years and Ill cya next year down there!

I rescued your kite, might want to look at getting a new leash.

leashes break once, when they "break" twice, something's faulty.

if ur tlkn bout the quick release...one solution i foudn quite handy... TAPE.. you can still pull through the tape if u really need to but it stops the QR slowly making its way up and undoing itself

so most of this could of been averted in kiting onshore

tape ftw, also stops sand going into them and clogging it up
