it didn't seem smooth really. i mean.. its not bad but it wasn't smooth, too jerky really....if i had time i would post my own videos but alas im too busy downloading porn , trolling forums and besides if you don't understand what im saying then there is no hope, i mean maybe it should have been edited in slow mo to make the action look more fluid.. ... then it could have looked ok.. and where was the kite loop with the board grab and kgb xyz lmnop !!!

I would imagine anywhere in the world you get these conditions guy's would be doing the same sort of stuff, maybe better depending on how you look at it.

To me, he doesn't look like someone from a surfing background, just not fluent enough.

Not intending to be negative, but there are heaps of guy's not getting filmed doing same or better. certainly looks fun and that's what counts

IMO how good ... and to all the 'hooked in/strapped/board leash/pro' critics why can't you just either appreciate or ignore rather than spew out negativty ...lighten the fark up ! It's a video of a guy having fun not an adv or promotion saying he's world best etc etc etc

The good thing about this is that there isn't the obligitory wanky stoopid intro of some "look at me wanker" walking down a beach with the cliched sunset shot and the chicks frolicking on the shore and the fade in fade out into stylised writing and after a 2 mga byte download we finally get to see some action .the bloke's just out there having a great time and the musics really nice and simple too .

Good thread Pearl! Wave kiting is a good term. Powered, unpowered - it's all good to look at.

I do like watching great surfing in ordinary surf though. Gives us mortals something to aspire to.
