hey Rez.In the airport in Chile at the moment. Been in peru for 7weeks. Started out at pacasmayo, about 10hrs bus ride north of Lima. (great long left wave, beach can be a bitch to launch off, lot of rocks, but wind most days, left to right, cross off) If your on a buget u can stay in town at the surf hostel named duke (they pronounce it du-ka) THink its $5 or 10 a night. But for $35-40 u can stay at el faro hotel overlooking the beach. Not exspensive to live in pacasmayo,

and deff one of the longest and best left you'll ever kite. If u surf , Chicama (longest left in the world is 1hr south by car). Wind there to offshore to kite, and u need a big swell for that to work. Got a bus up to a place called mancora, thats there resort town. Swell spose to start around oct-nov. But 1/30hrs south is a place called Lobitos, great wave when swell up and wind , much the same as pacasmayo. Acomm can be from $5 up to $45 in the best place. If there no waves not much of a place to stay at, and if your travelling with your girl and she doen't kite or surf, shes going to be bitchin. But if you get lobitos on , deff a gret wave to kite (easier to kite then pacasmayo). Well only got another f-ing 5hrs to wait for next flight, but hope this helps u. Look up kitesurfing in pacasmayo and lobitos on internet and you'll see what the waves look like...cheers tez
