Thanks for giving me a hand with my "punter like" self landing techniques.
What a mission that was.
The waves coming from every angle made for some bumpy riding.
I'm walking around like an old man waiting for double knee replacements.
But it was worth it.
Catchya out there soon.

I'm not about to stop kiting, but I do have to take it a bit easier these days so I've decide to start photographing you guys and girls on the wilder windier days. I just love taking photos and looking at them, sharing them, etc. The way a camera can freeze a moment of time never ceases to amaze me, I get to relive my dreams!
The shots were spoiled slightly by the fact that I forgot to remove a circular polariser (cuts quite a bit of light) as it was a dull day. The lens is the 100-400 Canon f4.5 IS L series, I used a monopod and most of the shots were at 400mm due to the sweep and very onshore conditions making it hard for Dave and Leo to stay upwind near where we usually launch.
The Caltex refinery flare was pulsing and blowing out some large orange flames on Sunday and made for an interesting backdrop. Shots are only going to get better and I'll be able to get much better with practice and better light!
@ Gone to the Darkside - yeah heard about your Cronulla point session, that would have been awesome to get some shots of! Send me texts when you guys are heading out with your location, then you'll see me and gets some nice souvenirs!
