The word performance replaces the fruit eg orange. some oranges when you squeeze are a bit dry and woody full of skin and seeds leaving verry little juice while a second orange that would appear to be the same could be soft and juicy full of flavour, there fore has more juice making it a better orange.
so when comparing it to kitting gear when you test something the more performance it has and the better it is makes it more juicy.
